Shannon’s View From Here Review

Shannon's View From Here LogoShannon, of “Shannon’s View from Here”, and I met on Twitter earlier in the Fall. She was intrigued with SwaggerTags as a mom, a successful blogger and as an airline industry worker, and offered to review them. Here’s what she said:
• “I absolutely love finding new products that are created by moms. I especially love it when they are Canadian moms that create items out of necessity. They are always fantastic ideas.”
• “SwaggerTag Identification Tags come in 6 vibrant fun colors. They are visible and durable.”
• “One of the things I really like about the SwaggerTag Identification Tags is that any contact information is kept hidden. I have seen tags that have names and phone number prominently displayed for all to see. Having little ones I am particular about what information people see.”
• “Another unique thing about SwaggerTag Identification Tags is that you can personalize them. Add a photo, logo or design to personalize your tag. My kids added a drawing of our family to my tag for my camera bag. I love it!”
• “Having worked for an airline for years I know how important tags are! Having a bright noticeable tag on your bags will lower the likelihood of someone else grabbing your black non-identifiable bag from the carousel at the airport.”
• “There are so many uses for the SwaggerTag!”
• “The price point (SRP: $3.99 each) of the SwaggerTag makes it a great stocking stuffer idea. Everyone I know would love to get one of these this Christmas.”

MommyPerks’ Post on “Best Thing About Owning A Business”

MommyPerks LogoI was recently quoted in a posting from MommyPerks:

“I believe heartily that kids learn by what you do, and not necessarily by what you say. My husband works out of home, so they really have no idea about what he does at work, his successes and failures. My business, however, is all around them — physically and mentally. They’re learning first hand about the good and bad of being or living with an entrepreneur. Even if my business turns out not to be the success I hope it will, I still think my kids will have learned a lot about entrepreneurship as a work choice and the realities of balancing home and work demands.”

Mommy Perks offers an array of services for small businesses, and assists small business owners with marketing, networking, content, promotion ideas, consulting services, advertising and more. In honor of National Women in Small Business Month, Shara invited their 2012 Gift Guide members to answer the following question: “What is your favorite thing about owning a business?”

Genuine Jenn Review

Genuine Jenn is a healthcare worker, mother of 2 and loves to write about motherhood, family life, honest product reviews, giveaways and more. Jenn loved SwaggerTags as “sometimes I really do not feel safe with a name splashed on the kids’ backpacks or my luggage with my address there for everyone to see. SwaggerTag has your information concealed on the inside of the tag. If you lose your luggage the finder can open the tag to see the information.” She also noted that:
• They are water, wear and impact resistant, come in 6 bright colors and can be customized with your favorite photos. They are manufactured using non-toxic, food-grade plastics. Each pack comes with 3 cables ties that are easy to attach.
• Many uses for them: golf bags, bicycles, electronics, totes, luggage, backpacks or sports bags and really whatever you can think of that you could try.
• Don’t have or want a photo in it? Just have the kids draw a picture or put in a color piece of paper. There are endless opportunities in making these tags your own.

• The packaging is recyclable.
• SwaggerTags can be attached to pretty much anything, from backpacks and lunch boxes, to luggage, sports bags and even bicycles.

Off to school with ya: a JK check list

Mommy Gearest LogoMommyGearest recently provided her followers with a checklist for what every JK’er needs to head off to school this year — which includes SwaggerTag. She cautions parents to “…ensure that you put some kind of identifier on your child’s backpack, too – just be careful about how much information you include. We’ll be using a SwaggerTag because all of our personal information is hidden away. Plus, there are great colours to choose from so you could easily match or accent your kid’s pack.” Here’s the link.
